The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the substantial number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The provider stage made for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard for your office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of sassa status check all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
